Data Deletion Request

Fastest path: Open the app → side menu → Account → "Logout" button. The device is deregistered on the licensing server and all local data is erased within seconds. No e-mail or form required.

1. What data the app collects

ispTVplayer is an IPTV client for the ISP TV service. For its operation it collects:

Device identifier (device ID) — used to bind a subscription to a specific TV/phone for licensing.
Authentication token — generated internally during activation (from the activation code obtained on the provider portal).
Subscription username — received from the licensing server during pairing.
Local cache — programme guide (EPG), channel logos, favourites, recents, user preferences.

The app does not collect names, e-mail addresses, phone numbers, location, contacts, photos, calendar entries, files, or browsing history.

2. What data will be deleted

3. What data is retained

The following is associated with your subscription with the ISP TV service (not the app) and is governed by our privacy policy:

Subscription record — name, billing details, payment history. Retained while the subscription is active, plus statutory periods (accounting, tax — typically 10 years in Slovakia).
Connection logs — IP addresses, stream-connection timestamps. Retained for at most 90 days for debugging and fraud detection.

To erase these as well, you must cancel the subscription and request deletion directly (contact below).

4. How to request deletion

Option A — In-App Logout (recommended, 1 second)

Launch the ispTVplayer app.
Open the side menu (BACK / LEFT on the remote).
Navigate to Account.
Press "Logout".
Confirm "Yes" in the dialog.

The app immediately calls POST /api/app/unregister on the licensing server (which rotates the server-side token), stops the player, and clears IndexedDB + localStorage. It takes less than one second.

Option B — E-mail request (for full provider-side erasure)

Send an e-mail to support@isptv.sk with:

Subject: "Data Deletion Request — ispTVplayer"
Your name or subscription username
(Optional) Device ID you want to deactivate — found in the app under Account → Device ID.
Whether you request full subscription deletion (account closure) or only the in-app data

We will respond with a deletion confirmation within 30 days as required by GDPR Art. 17.
